Our History
Anna’s Corner Therapy was founded during the coronavirus pandemic of 2020. Many pediatric outpatient centers were closing their doors, and it quickly became apparent that there was a need for skilled, virtual therapy. Our team was starting to see real results through virtual occupational therapy sessions. Through virtual sessions, families could access skilled clinical care directly from their own homes. Therapists found that being in the home environment helped empower parents to carry over intervention ideas, as well as help increase the child’s comfort when working with a therapist. We saw that virtual therapy helped increase access to many families who otherwise would not have had been able to seek help for their children.
